QBIT is a financial switch that enables businesses to support customer payments on their websites using the BIT payment application.

QBIT serves as the central system to which various customer-selected systems are connected through multiple interfaces, such as back-office systems and digital invoicing service providers.

QBIT records all transactions and initiates the delivery of an SMS message to the customer for payment authorization. Once the payment is approved, QBIT processes the charge flow with the BIT payment application and returns the received response to the originating website.

QBIT also supports transactions with additional authentication using 3D Secure, through a dedicated interface to Shva, the Israeli nationa switch. In such transactions, the customer receives a one-time password (OTP) valid for a limited time, which must be entered in the prompt displayed on the payment website.
